(Sejarah Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi) – Manusia memiliki dua fungsi kedudukan dalam kehidupan ini yaitu sebagai individu dan mahluk sosial. Sebagai mahluk sosial, manusia membutuhkan untukberkomunikasi diantara sesamanya  dan merupakan kebutuhan penting agar dapat melakukan interaksi dengan baik. Atas dasar kebutuhan tersebut, manusia berupaya mencari dan mencipta sistem dan alat untuk saling berinteraksi, mulai dari gambar (bentuk lukisan), isyarat (tangan,asap, dan bunyi), huruf, kata, kalimat, tulisan, surat, sampai dengan telepon dan internet.

Perkembangan sistem informasi dalam kehidupan manusia seiring dengan peradaban manusia itu sendiri sampai akhirnya mengenal istilah Teknologi Informasi (IT/Information Technology). Dimulai dari bentuk gambar yang tak bermakna pada dinding-dinding, prasasti-prasasti, sampai informasi yang kemudian dikenal dengan nama internet. Informasi yang dikekola dan disampaikan juga terus dikembangkan, dari informasi yang sederhana seperti sekedar  menggambarkan suatu keadaan, sampai pada informasi strategis seperti taktik bertempur.

Meperhatikan perkembangan informasi tersebut, kita akan mempelajari secara singkat sejarah teknologi infomasi dalam upaya untuk mendapatkan keutuhan ilmu dan pengetahuan tentang teknologi informasi. Sejarah teknologi dapat kita bagi ke dalam masa pra-sejarah, masa sejarah, dan masa modern.

Teknologi informasi merupakan gabungan antara teknologi perangkat keras (hardware) dan perangkat lunak (software).  Pengembangan teknologi hardware cenderung menuju ukuran yang kecil dengan  kemampuan serta kapasitas  yang tinggi. Namun diupayakan harga yang relatif  semakin murah. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan memungkinkan berbagai kegiatan dapat dilaksanakan dengan cepat, tepat dan akurat sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerja. Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memunculkan berbagai jenis kegiatan yang berbasis pada teknologi, seperti : e-government, e- commerce, e-education, e-medicine, e-laboratory, dan lainnya, yang kesemuanya itu berbasiskan elektronika.

Teknologi Informasi adalah suatu teknologi yang digunakan untuk mengolah data, meliputi : memproses, mendapatkan, menyusun, menyimpan, memanipulasi data dengan berbagai cara untuk menghasilkan informasi yang berkualitas. Informasi yang dibutuhkan akan relevan, akurat, dan tepat waktu, yang digunakan untuk keperluan pribadi, bisnis, dan pemerintahan yang strategis untuk pengambilan keputusan. Teknologi ini menggunakan seperangkat komputer untuk mengolah data, sistem jaringan untuk menghubungkan satu komputer dengan komputer yang lainnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan.

Dengan ditunjang teknologi  informasi telekomunikasi data dapat disebar dan diakses secara global. Peran yang dapat diberikan oleh aplikasi teknologi informasi ini adalah mendapatkan informasi untuk kehidupan pribadi seperti informasi tentang kesehatan, hobi, rekreasi, dan rohani. Kemudian untuk profesi seperti sains, teknologi, perdagangan, berita bisnis, dan asosiasi profesi. Sarana kerjasama antara pribadi atau kelompok yang satu dengan pribadi atau kelompok yang lainnya tanpa mengenal batas jarak dan waktu, negara, ras, kelas ekonomi, ideologi atau faktor lainnya yang dapat menghambat bertukar pikiran. Perkembangan teknologi  informasi memacu suatu cara baru dalam kehidupan, dari kehidupan itu dimulai sampai dengan berakhir, kehidupan seperti ini dikenal dengan e-life, artinya kehidupan ini sudah dipengaruhi oleh berbagai kebutuhan secara elektronik. Sehingga sekarang sedang semarak dengan berbagai terminologi yang dimulai dengan awalan e seperti e-commerce, e-government, e-education, e-library, e-journal, e-medicine, e-laboratory, e-biodiversitiy, dan yang lainnya lagi yang berbasis elektronika.

Ekonomi global juga mengikuti evoluasi dari agraris dengan ciri utama tanah merupakan faktor produksi yang paling dominan. Melalui penemuan mesin uap, ekonomi global ber-evolusi ke arah ekonomi industridengan ciri utama modal sebagai faktor produksi yang paling penting. Abad sekarang, cenderung manusia menduduki tempat sentral dalam proses produksi berdasar pada pengetahuan (knowledge based) dan berfokus pada informasi (information focused). Telekomunikasi dan informatika memegang peranan sebagai teknologi  kunci (enabler technology). Perkembangan teknologi  informasi yang begitu pesat, memungkinkan diterapkannya cara-cara yang lebih efisien untuk produksi, distribusi, dan konsumsi barang dan jasa. Proses inilah yang membawa manusia ke dalam masyarakat atau ekonomi informasi sering disebut sebagai masyarakat pasca industri. Pada era informasi ini, jarak fisik atau jarak geografis tidak lagi menjadi faktor penentu dalam hubungan antar manusia atau antar lembaga usaha, sehingga dunia ini menjadi suatu kampung global atau Global Village.

Banyak yang bilang Pasang behel bisa bikin kurus, males makan, sering sariawan.
Sebenarnya penderitaanya cuma 2 minggu pertama kok krn mulut ga terbiasa dengan benda asing di gigi kita, jadi bisa timbul sariawan. Tapi bisa disiasati dengan wax ortho (berupa lilin untuk menutupi bagian yang tajam).
Saat sariawan juga harus siap obat sariawan seperti albothyl atau kenalog dipakai malam hari. Tapi saat ini sudah ada kok tekhnologi merapikan gigi terbaru yang tidak bikin sariawan, seperti pake behel biasa yaitu Invisalign.
Untuk masalah males makan itu karena pada saat gigi ditarik pasti rasanya ngilu2 kalo gigit sesuatu, terutama di awal2 kontrol. Tapi setelah beberapa hari pasti udah ga lagi, apalagi makanannya enak lupa deh kalo pake behel hihihi…
Biar Behel kita awet hindari makanan yang keras-keras seperti kacang ,wortel mentah, batu, kayu loh loh salah ya hehehe.. Kalo makan juga sebaiknya dipotong terlebih dahulu, jangan memotongnya pake gigikita soalnya behel kita bisa lepas sebelum waktunya.
Kenapa sih repot amat yah, secara behel ga bisa dipakai lagi kalo uda dicopot karena uda ada lemnya, jadi harus diganti baru. Kadang ada dokter yang baik yang ga mencharge biaya tambahan dengan copotnya behel, tapi ada juga yang mencharge biaya lumayan.. Sayang khan… (2008-06-06) Heii ada berita bagus nich, kemarin ngobrol dengan Drg ku , ternyata behel bisa dilepas dan dipasang lagi kok asal behelnya tidak rusak/ bengkok ( coba perhatiin deh, ada 4 behel yang punya sayap kaya burung aja, punya sayap hihi ). Pernah ada pasiennya mau menikah, jadi behelnya dicopot dulu… udah selesai pestanya dipasang lagi deh.. Syukurlah jadikita ga perlu khawatir yah, kalo sewaktu-waktu behelnya perlu dilepas.. Biasanya dokter pakai alat untuk membakar lem yang ada di behel, secara behel tahan panas jadi ga rusak.. Setelah lemnya lepas dipakai lagi deh…
